The Sustainability Awards program provides the opportunity for the organizations to receive global recognition by a panel of volunteer judges who themselves are leaders and experts in business.
The most precious asset all businesses share is our Earth. The efforts individuals and businesses make to sustain this vital resource is not only necessary, but it also makes good business sense. Seeking recognition for Earth-friendly work is also smart business.
The Sustainability Awards honor those who have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice.
The Award Categories are:
Sustainability Leadership Award
Sustainability Initiative of the Year
Sustainability Product of the Year
Sustainability Service of the Year
Sustainability Hero (Executive)
Sustainability Champion (Nonexecutive)
Selection Criteria
Winners are selected by a panel of experts, according to the following criteria:
1. Has the project/program set ambitious but realistic goals in relation to available resources? 20%
2. Have the project/program’s goals and outcomes been clearly documented? 20%
3. Will the project/program serve as a good example for other institutions? 20%
4. Has the project/program had a significant impact on environmental sustainability? 40%
